OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in providing a safe environment in which children can explore the world around them. Where a child's physical, mental, emotional and cognitive skills can develop in a loving atmosphere. Where through play and natural curiosity they are encouraged to express themselves, their ideas and creativity; engaging in child initiated experiences. Where they will be challenged to their own problem solving, self regulate and gain confidence in who they are. We feel consistency and structure balanced with the ability to be flexible is key.
WHO WE ARE
Alison & Jeanette
Cuddlebugs Infant Care was started by Alison and Jeanette, a mother and daughter duo! When Alison’s first son was born going back to work was not an option- it had to be done. But no childcare situation seemed good enough. Who could she really trust to love and care for her baby the way she could? From that came a desire to create a center that moms would feel comfortable leaving their child. A place where babies would be loved and looked after the way a mom or grandma would. But also a place where babies wouldn't just be babysat but cared for and challenged in a variety of developmentally appropriate ways. A place where babies would thrive.
Alison graduated from San Jose State with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development. She is a level 14 on the Wisconsin Registry. Jeanette went back to school to receive her site supervisor permit and infant and toddler units. She is a level 12 on the Wisconsin Registry.
With a background in extensive curriculum and licensing knowledge, Alison and Jeanette know that childcare is more than watching babies. They understand the developmental stages of infants & toddlers. They understand how learning opportunities for babies will come from problem solving skills they engage in with everyday challenges. They respond with positive reinforcement, providing attention and modeling the behavior they want from a child.
WHAT WE OFFER
At Cuddlebugs Infant Care we offer full time in home care for babies 6 weeks to 2 years old. We have a variety of activities like music and movement, art, motor skills, outdoor play, and sensory play, throughout the day to keep your child thriving and learning while you are away.
